In the ever-changing city of Sharon, new ideas (especially those of an artistic nature) are seemingly popping up all over the downtown area. One of such designation is the recently renovated Armory of the Arts, which hosted the "Celebration of Color 2019" event on July 20th. The event showcased a fun evening of art, music, interactive exhibits, food, drinks & COLOR, along with featuring works of art for sale by Jeff Piper, Michael DeBonis and Doug Meyer. Several WLS staff and consumers also enjoyed and participated in the event.
Attendees took part in Interactive Exhibits, Caricatures by Jeremiah Witkowski, Blackout Poetry by Fade into a Blackout- Blackout Poetry, Body Painting by Cynthia Jewel, and Pottery by Jim Reno, Justin Reese, and Dallas Wooten. Silver Bridge Strings also provided entertainment for the event. Proceeds from the evening went to support future downtown Sharon art Projects.
Whole Life Services, along with Donna Little had their Metal-smithing Class project (above) on display, as well. You can read more detail about that project HERE.
