Turning the Tables

In the July 19th edition of our Newsletter we reported that several of Whole Life's Consumers have been given the opportunity to earn some money in what's known as the "Buhl Lunch Project". Over the summer, around 100 children (who are participated in The Buhl Club's summer camp) were being served lunch by our very own individuals. The 3 teams (2 from Linden Pointe and 1 from E State St) served the children on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays. Some of the team members also got the opportunity to lead children in some sort of activity.

So, (after serving lunch to the children all summer), on the last day of Summer Camp the children who attended camp decided to serve lunch to all of the volunteers from WLS. The volunteers were also presented the volunteers from JC B-Ball (who delivered the lunches to the club) with T-shirts and cards; and the Summer Camp staff with chocolate covered pretzels from It'Sweet/Weber Catering.

Whole Life Services, Inc. wishes to thank Buhl Club Executive Director, Jason Kmick for reaching out to us to collaborate on the idea.
