A Majestic Movement

On August 2nd, a group from WLS attended an art exhibit and ribbon- cutting ceremony at The Gallery @ Club Forget-me-not East in Monroeville. Club Forget-me-not East is the newest location of Not Forgotten Home and Community Services. NFHCS provides individuals with ID opportunities to develop talents, evlove skills, and (most importantly) have fun. They currently have 2 other locations in Carnegie and Bridgeville.

Club Forget-me-not East is NFHCS' newest location in Monroeville. This is a state-of-the-art location with "multiple options under 1 roof", including; art classes, music lessons, games, dance, fitness, as well as a variety of special events. On this day, however, the Gallery @ Club Forget-me-not East was all about the "Majestic Movement" art show and ribbon-cutting ceremony which featured Whole Life's own metal- smithing display from Studio C and DK Studios, as well as a collage by Studio C. All of the other artwork exhibited were creations by many of the consumers of NFHCS.

The afternoon also included a 'butterfly release" of butterflies that were raised and set free by NFHCS Consumers. Whole Life's own Metalsmith Class project and Wood Scrap Collage were on display for guests to enjoy. Studio Forget-me-not offers monthly classes and give individuals the option to sell their work in their gallery/store.
